Written characters and in-progress scenarios give browser chats a more specific starting point.

A blank chat box asks you to invent the situation, the other person and the reason you are both there. That can be the least interesting part of roleplay. EroLove takes a different route: it presents adult AI characters with their own fictional settings, and lets you enter a scene that has already begun.
The product is for adults and is designed for explicit conversations between fictional characters and users. Its basic pitch is not simply that you can send sexual messages to an AI. It is that the chat has a cast and a premise before you type. That distinction is the main thing to understand before signing up.
The scene comes before the chat
The developer describes characters including Rae, who works nights behind a bar in Leeds, Owen, a furniture maker in Cardiff, and Iris, who runs a guesthouse night desk in Lisbon. These are fictional setups written by the team, rather than blank profiles the user is expected to shape from scratch.
On the landing page, the flow starts with a choice: browse companions, or browse scenarios. A scenario begins in the middle of a moment, with the character speaking first. The sample scene, for instance, places Rae behind a bar after closing. You answer from there, so the first task is reacting to a situation rather than writing an opening prompt that establishes the whole world.
That structure may help people who want a guided start and a character with a defined setting. It also sets a boundary. If you want a general-purpose assistant, a completely user-authored roleplay, or a chat that stays non-sexual, EroLove is aimed elsewhere. The product is explicitly adult and the page draws a hard line at underage characters and real named people.
What happens after the first message
EroLove presents the exchanges as ordinary back-and-forth chat, with character and user messages visually distinguished. Its stated aim is for characters to retain details from earlier conversations, such as shared jokes or preferences. That is part of its appeal, but also a claim to treat cautiously: the page does not explain how memory works, how long it lasts, or what controls users have over stored details.
There are also group rooms, where the product says you can bring several companions into one thread and have them respond to one another as well as to you. The landing page describes rooms of up to four characters and marks group chats as a Premium feature. This changes the format from a private exchange into a small scene with multiple fictional voices, though it is a more elaborate mode than the core one-character chat.
The page also advertises sending photos for characters to react to. Availability is not clearly presented: the feature appears in the description of what the product can do, while the pricing section labels photo-related capabilities as coming soon. That inconsistency matters if image interaction is the reason you are considering it. The text supports treating written chat and scenes as the clearer starting point, not assuming every advertised media feature is ready.
Free access, with a narrow scope
EroLove has a free plan with a paid upgrade. The landing page says the free account is limited to 15 messages a day, while the upgrade is described as offering unlimited messages and fuller memory. The developer says you can try it without a card. Those limits make the free option useful for sampling a character or scene, but not necessarily for sustained daily use.
It runs on the web, so it does not offer a listed desktop or mobile app. That keeps the basic entry point in a browser, but people looking for a native app or offline access should not expect either from the information available. The service is also explicitly for adults; it is not a general social chat product for mixed-age audiences.
The narrower design is both its reason to exist and its limitation. EroLove supplies a written cast, adult scenarios and a chat format oriented toward sexual roleplay. It does not present itself as a general companion for every kind of conversation, and its scene-first approach may feel restrictive to users who prefer to build every premise themselves.
For adults who want fictional characters, a ready-made opening and ongoing browser chat, EroLove is built for that specific use. It is not a fit for people seeking a broad AI assistant, a non-explicit companion, a native app, or certainty that photo features are available.
