Terms of Service

Last updated July 29, 2026

The short version: we publish honest write-ups, some of them paid. Paid placement buys an article and the readers it reaches. It never buys a ranking, and never approval over what the article says.

1. Who we are and what this covers

SpacerrApps ("we", "us") is operated by Spacerr LLC. These Terms govern your use of https://spacerrapps.com: reading it, contacting us, creating an account, and subscribing. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

You can reach us at https://spacerrapps.com/contact about anything in this document.

2. What the service is

SpacerrApps is a publication. We write about software products, mostly small, independently built apps. Developers submit their own apps, we review every submission, and every app we approve is written about once, on the same terms, on every tier.

We are not an advertising network, an SEO service, or a link broker, and we do not sell ranking outcomes. Articles are not for sale here at any price. What the subscription described below buys is a higher limit on how many apps you may have listed at once, and a sponsor placement on the home page and the sponsors page, together with the readers and referral traffic those reach. Nothing more than that is promised.

3. Accounts

You need an account only to buy a placement or manage one. Reading the site never requires signing in. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since email is how sign-in works. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, submits material that breaches section 4, or attempts to interfere with the site or other users.

You can close your own account at any time from your dashboard. Closing it signs you out everywhere. Apps already listed and posts already published stay online, because other pages link to them.

Closing your account does NOT remove your app listings or the news already published about them. Those stay online. A listing is a permanent link we promised you, and a published article is part of the archive; both outlive the account that created them. Section 6 covers how to ask for one to be changed or taken down.

If you change your mind within 30 days, signing in again reopens the account exactly as it was. After that we anonymise it: your email address, name and picture are erased, your apps and their write-ups stay published, and signing up again creates a new account rather than restoring the old one.

4. What you submit, and what we do not publish

When you submit an app you give us its name, URL, icon, a short subtitle and a description. We use that material to write about the app and to display it alongside the resulting posts.

By submitting it, you confirm that:

  • You own the app or are authorised to promote it.
  • You have the right to give us the name, icon and copy you submit, and our publishing them does not infringe anyone's rights.
  • The app is lawful, is not malware or a scam, and does not require us to make claims we cannot verify.
  • The app is not in a category we do not publish. That list is immediately below.
  • The description is accurate. We write from what you give us, so an inaccurate submission produces an inaccurate article.

Some categories are not published here at any price, and a subscription does not change that. We do not accept:

  • Pornography and sexually explicit apps, and anything whose main purpose is adult content.
  • Gambling, betting, casino, sports-book and loot-box apps, and anything else built around wagering real money.
  • Apps that are 18+ in substance rather than by label: sexual content, real-money gambling, and the sale of alcohol, tobacco, vapes, cannabis or other controlled substances.
  • Weapons, ammunition, and anything designed to cause physical harm.
  • Financial products promising returns, get-rich-quick schemes, crypto or trading apps sold on the basis of profit, and anything else where writing an enthusiastic article could cost a reader money.
  • Hate speech, harassment, extremist material, and anything targeting a person or group.
  • Apps whose purpose is to deceive: fake reviews, engagement farming, follower and traffic selling, plagiarism and cheating services, spyware or stalkerware.
  • Anything illegal where we operate, and anything requiring a licence the submitter does not hold.

This is a judgement we make, not a checklist you can argue past. An app that sits close to one of these lines may be declined even if it does not clearly cross it, and an app we have already published may be taken down if we learn it belongs here. Where a submission was paid for and we decline it before publishing anything, we refund it in full.

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it for the purpose of producing and publishing posts about your app, and to keep those posts online afterwards.

We may decline a submission at our discretion. For example if it breaches the above, if we cannot write about it honestly, or if it is outside what this publication covers. If we decline before publishing anything, we refund that period.

5. Paid placement, disclosure and links

Subscriptions are priced per billing period: Founder at $9.99 per billing period covers up to 4 apps and a sponsor placement on the home page and the sponsors page. A subscription raises the number of apps you may keep listed at once; it does not buy articles. Each approved app is written about once, drafted when an editor approves the listing, and reviewed by a person before publication.

How sponsorship works here, which is not negotiable and is not something we will change on request:

  • No article on this site is for sale. Every approved app is written about once, on every tier, so the links in a write-up are ordinary followed links. Nothing is published on any tier until a person has reviewed it.
  • A subscription includes a sponsor placement: your app shown in the sponsor panels on the home page and listed on the sponsors page. Those placements send readers and referral traffic; they do not pass search-ranking credit.

We keep editorial control. Posts are drafted with the help of AI and then reviewed by a person before anything is published. We will correct factual errors about your app promptly if you point them out. We will not publish claims we do not believe, remove an honest criticism, or hand over approval of the copy.

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic volume, sign-ups, revenue, or that any particular post will be indexed by any search engine. Anyone who guarantees those things is guessing.

6. Publication and removal

Once published, a post is part of this publication's archive. We may keep it online after your subscription ends. That is the normal life of a published article, and removing content because someone stopped paying would make the archive dishonest.

If your app shuts down, changes materially, or you want a post edited or taken down, tell us at https://spacerrapps.com/contact using the address on the account, and say which app or post you mean and why. The reason matters: it is how we tell a correction from a retraction, and it is what an editor acts on. We will normally update or remove it, and we will always do so where we are legally required to.

We may edit, update or unpublish any post at any time, including for accuracy, legal reasons, or because we no longer stand behind it.

7. Billing, cancellation and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal and nothing else. Your apps stay listed, their write-ups stay published, their links stay live, and your sponsor mention stays on the sponsors page. What stops is the ability to list further apps beyond the free allowance. It does not refund the period you are in.

Payments are not refunded. There is one exception, and it is failure to deliver on our side. What you are paying for is concrete: up to your tier's apps listed on this site, each with its own page, its own write-up and its 2 links, and your app shown as a sponsor for the period you paid for. If we do not deliver that in a period you paid for and the reason is ours, tell us and we refund that period in full. If we decline your submission before publishing anything, we refund it without being asked.

Nothing else is refundable. Changing your mind, cancelling part-way through a period, deciding the coverage did not bring the traffic you hoped for, or disagreeing with an honest opinion we published are not failures to deliver, and no refund follows from them. Your statutory rights, where they apply, are not affected by any of this.

We may change the price. A price change applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you before it takes effect.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • Scrape, mirror or republish the site's content at scale without permission.
  • Attempt to gain access to accounts, admin surfaces or data that are not yours.
  • Interfere with the site's operation, or probe it for vulnerabilities without contacting us first.
  • Submit the same app under multiple accounts to multiply placements.

If you have found a security problem, we would genuinely like to hear about it: https://spacerrapps.com/contact.

9. Our content

The posts, design and code of SpacerrApps belong to Spacerr LLC, apart from the app names, icons and marks that belong to the developers we write about, which remain theirs.

You may quote and link to our posts. Reproducing a post in full, or using our content to train a model for commercial resale, requires permission.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything published will produce a particular commercial result.

We write about third-party apps. We are not responsible for those apps, their behaviour, their billing, or what happens if you install one. Our coverage is an opinion, not a certification.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost traffic. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where you have a mandatory right to bring a claim in your own country of residence, this does not take it away.
