What the links are
Every approved app carries 2 links back to your site: one from its page in the directory, one from its write-up. Both are ordinary followed links. They pass ranking credit and they stay online for good, which is the whole reason a free listing is worth filling in a form for.
Those links are not for sale, on any tier, and that is the point of them. They come from passing review, which is what makes a link from here an editorial judgement rather than a purchase. Paying changes where your listing sits and nothing about the links on it. A featured row points at your own page on this site rather than out to yours. The links here that pass no ranking credit are the paid ones: your entry on the sponsors page and the rows on the Outrank board.
What the badge is
A small image that links from your site back to your listing here. Every listed app gets one, on any tier. On a free account it is also the condition for launching: put it in your site's footer, press verify on your dashboard, and the listing goes out with the next launch. A subscriber's listing launches whether the badge is there or not.
What the placement is
Featured rows sit at the top of the directory, on the home page and on every category page, and each one carries a Featured badge so a reader can tell it apart from the ranking below it. A subscription holds one of them, and its listings launch without the badge a free listing has to carry on its own site first. What it does not change is the write-up, which every approved app gets on identical terms, or the links, which every approved app carries whatever its owner pays. A featured row sends you visitors by putting your listing where people are already looking.
The rate is locked while the subscription runs. It goes up for people who start later and it does not go up for you, which is the honest version of an early price: you are paying a small amount for a small audience, and keeping that amount as the audience grows. Paying for a year costs $228 instead of $39 a month, and the lock works the same way.
What money does not buy here
- An article. Every approved app gets the same single write-up, whatever its owner pays.
- An earlier article, or a better one, or approval over what it says. Facts get corrected at any time; opinions do not get rewritten.
- Ranking credit. Every paid link is marked sponsored and passes none.
- Guaranteed traffic, sign-ups or revenue.
What happens if you cancel
Nothing comes down. Your apps stay listed, their write-ups stay published and every link stays live, including the followed ones pointing at your site. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we email you the date the moment you cancel. After that the only thing that stops is the placement itself. How many apps you list does not change, because it never depended on paying. Payments already made are not refunded, including a month cancelled part way through.
How to start
Describe your app first, then choose. The form asks what it does, who it is for and what makes it different, and the tier is the last question rather than the first one, because until an app is described there is nothing to price. Submit your app and it takes about five minutes. A person reads every submission before anything is published.
Subscribing is covered by our Terms. Need something the plans do not cover? Ask us, and a person answers.
Questions
Is SpacerrApps a free app directory?
Yes. Listing a SaaS, web, desktop or mobile app is free, for any number of apps, and no card is asked for. Every approved app gets its own page in the directory, one write-up and 2 followed links back to its site, and they stay up for good.
Can I launch a SaaS on SpacerrApps for free?
Yes. Submit it, a person reviews it, and it launches with the next batch on Monday, 08:00 UTC. At launch it gets its own page showing its upvotes and clicks, and a write-up an editor reads before it is published.
Is there a catch?
One condition. A free listing launches once the SpacerrApps badge is on your app's own site and you press Verify on your dashboard. A Featured subscription launches without it.
What is for sale?
Two things. A Featured row at the top of the directory, $39 a month or $228 a year, and a row on the Outrank board, one payment from $15. Neither buys a write-up, a say in what it says, or a followed link.
Does a person review every app?
Yes. A person approves every listing before it launches, and an editor reads every write-up before it is published.
