About Inkbound
Inkbound is a personal reading and library tracker for readers who want to remember their reading life without turning it into another productivity chore. Keep your books and editions organized, log reading sessions and progress, build collections, set goals, explore meaningful reading statistics, and preserve the memories connected to what you read.
Unlike trackers that can feel like databases or social feeds, Inkbound is designed as a quiet, candlelit personal library. There are no popularity contests or pressure to perform. Your reading history belongs to you, and features like streaks reflect reading you actually log rather than manufacturing activity from imported history.
Inkbound also has Lumis, a small companion who lives in your library. He adds personality to the experience without constantly interrupting you or turning reading into a game.
The web app is available now, with the Android app currently in closed beta and actively being improved through reader feedback.
What Inkbound does that nothing else does
It turns book tracking into a quiet personal library—with true reading-history streaks, edition-aware tracking, and Lumis, a companion who simply lives among your books.
Who Inkbound is for
Readers who want a calm, private place to track their books, reading sessions, progress, goals, collections, and memories without turning reading into another productivity system.

How private is my reading data, and can I export or delete it whenever I want?
Ame Rodriguez-JohnsonMaker
Privacy was actually one of my biggest concerns when I started building Inkbound. Your reading data is tied to your account and isn't something I want treated as a product or sold off to third parties.
I’ve also tried to make sure you’re never trapped in Inkbound — you can export your library/data, and you can delete your account and its associated data if you decide you no longer want to use it.
I’m still in beta, so security and data ownership are things I’m continuing to take very seriously as I build.

What features are included in the free plan, and what does the paid version unlock?
Ame Rodriguez-JohnsonMaker
Thanks for asking! The free plan is designed to be a complete reading library, so you can add and import unlimited books, create custom lists and collections, track reading progress, save notes and quotes, view your reading calendar and basic stats, and export your data.
Premium is for readers who want to do more with that library. It adds batch library editing, advanced reading insights and filters, Monthly Wrapped, Year in Books, Bookshelf Through Time, Inkbound Studio exports, and other deeper reading-history features.
Your library stays unlimited either way — Premium is about adding more powerful tools and insights, not putting your books behind a paywall.

How does Inkbound keep your library and reading sessions synced between the web app and Android?
Ame Rodriguez-JohnsonMaker
Yep! Inkbound uses Firebase to keep everything synced. As long as you’re signed into the same account, your library and reading activity sync between the Android app and the web version, so you can switch between them without having to maintain two separate libraries.

Can I import my existing library and reading history into Inkbound, or do I need to add everything manually?
Ame Rodriguez-JohnsonMaker
Yep! You can import your library, so you definitely don’t have to add everything manually. Right now Inkbound supports imports from Goodreads, StoryGraph, and Hardcover, and there’s also a custom CSV/JSON option. Your reading history can come over too as long as it’s included in the export from whichever app you’re coming from.
