Hi Lena,
Yes to both, and both happen before any signature.
Each item in the update has its own comment thread, so your client can leave a note on a specific piece without approving anything. It comes back to you to reply, and the feedback stays attached to the thing it's about.
If they want changes rather than a sign-off, there's a "Request changes" option next to approve. They write what they want changed, it comes to you, and nothing gets marked approved. A sign-off only happens when they deliberately approve and sign.

How does client payment work on the sign-off page, and which payment methods are supported?

Hi Ravi,
When you set an amount on an update, a Pay button with that exact figure appears on your client's sign-off page. They can pay the moment they approve, in the same place they sign.
You paste in your own payment link, so the money goes straight to you and Ascevo never holds it or takes a cut. Any provider works. A Razorpay link lets your client pay by card, UPI, netbanking or wallet, and a Stripe, PayPal or Wise link works the same way. Whatever you already use, drop it in.
