Guardian Cats is a free retro idle loot RPG created by a solo developer in Japan. In a world where humans have disappeared, you protect cats, head out on short adventures, battle monsters, collect materials and rare equipment, and steadily grow stronger. The game also includes player auctions and rankings, cat and monster collection, seasonal events, encyclopedias, and long-term progression. There are no in-app purchases.

How do player auctions work, and can you trade gear with other players?

Guardian Cats has a player-to-player Auction system. You can list eligible items you no longer need, and other players can bid on them. You can also browse items listed by other players, place bids, and receive the item if you have the winning bid when the auction ends.
Equipment can also be bought and sold through the Auction as long as that particular item is eligible to be listed. Not every item or piece of equipment can be auctioned.
There is currently no direct player-to-player trading or item swapping, so you can't select another player and exchange one item for another directly. Player transactions are handled through the Auction instead.
The Auction also shows price information based on previous winning bids, which can help you decide how much to list an item for or how much to bid.
So in short: you can buy and sell eligible gear and items with other players through the Auction, but direct one-to-one item exchanges are not supported. ๐ฑ
