About Nearer
Most to-do apps put the whole backlog in front of you, so deciding what to do becomes another task. Nearer replaces that wall of unfinished work with a single card. Add tasks, repeatable routines, or flashcards, then work through them one at a time. Complete a card and the next one is ready automatically, so you can keep moving without scanning or reprioritizing the entire list.
Routines can reset daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, manually, or on completion. Progress and list controls stay available when useful, but they do not crowd the focused view.
Nearer is for people who feel overwhelmed by conventional long lists and want a quieter way to start and continue. It deliberately is not a project-management dashboard or a bird's-eye view of every obligation. The list stays intact; the screen belongs to what matters now.

Yes, you can edit or skip the current card without marking it complete. Lists are presented in a carousel format, so you can always circle back. Routines stay visible in a completed state until the desired reset trigger occurs. Completed tasks are auto-archived upon refresh.

Good question! There’s currently 4 ways you can order cards: manually, by priority, by due date, or by priority + due date which sorts the cards by due date and then by priority within that.

Can I set different reset schedules for individual routine cards, such as daily for one and weekly for another?

At the moment, reset schedules are applied to lists only. We’re going to be rolling out a ‘Today’ list that pulls cards from all your lists that are due or reset today. We may expand that functionality to weekly and monthly lists later if the demand is there. Thanks for the question!
