Vinaa

Vinaa is a native AI chat app for Mac. It brings your AI models, conversations, files, prompts, and tools into one organized workspace. Your work stays together, so old conversations are easy to find.

* Choose the right AI model *

Vinaa works with cloud models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google using your own API keys. It also supports local models through Ollama and LM Studio. Browse and filter models, save favorites, set a default model for each project, or switch models during a chat without starting again.

* Keep your work organized *

Group related chats into projects, folders, and subfolders. You can move many chats at once. Search, favorites, and folders help you find important work.

Open projects in separate windows and keep several chats in tabs. Move between open conversations without losing your place. In a long chat, jump to any message or heading, or keep an outline open in the sidebar.

* Files, tools, and prompts *

Add files by choosing, dragging, or pasting them. See every file in the current chat, or find and reuse files from older conversations.

Use provider tools such as web search, or connect other services through MCP. Tool Finder can load the tools needed for a task.

Save prompts you use often and add them with a slash command. Templates can include fields for changing details such as names or dates.

* Private and made for Mac *

Vinaa stores chat history on your Mac. Optional sync uses your private iCloud account. API keys are protected by macOS Keychain, and requests go directly to the provider you choose.

Vinaa does not use your prompts, files, or answers to train AI models.

You can import chats from ChatGPT and Claude, then export chats as Markdown or PDF. Because Vinaa is built as a true Mac app, it starts quickly, streams answers smoothly, uses less memory, and supports familiar Mac controls and shortcuts. It runs on macOS 15 or later on Intel and Apple silicon Macs.
